This post contains affiliate links, which means I receive a small commission at no extra cost to you, if you make a purchase using that link.
What if I told you that you can earn money while you are doing your regular shopping? Well you can! I have personally tried these and can tell you honestly that they totally work! The best part is, they only require a few minutes of work and the rest is done for you.
So check out these awesome apps!
IBOTTA
Ibotta is great because it uses no coupons, it’s entirely based on cash back after you complete a purchase. Each time you go to the grocery store, check the Ibotta app for cash back opportunities at that particular store. After making a purchase, upload a photo of your receipt and Ibotta will send you cash back on that item within 1 week. Ibotta is currently connected with many of the major grocery store chains. I’ve used this app countless times with great results! If you want to join, click HERE.
EBATES
This one is probably my favorite because, as a mom of two small children, I do a ton of online shopping. It is a cash back website that refers you to online stores and services, so whenever you are about to make a purchase just go through ebates first and you can earn cash back! It’s like free money if you were going to make the purchase anyways. You have to click directly through the link on the website or it doesn’t work. So, since I have the memory of a goldfish, I installed the ebates button extension on my computer so whenever I’m about to make a purchase on any site, a little bubble pops up asking if I’d like to activate cash back on that purchase. Uh obviously. There is also an app so if you are making a purchase from a mobile device you can go through the app as well.
If you join Ebates right now you will get a FREE $10 bonus. After you’ve signed up, just visit the homepage to get started. Click HERE to join.
SHOPKICK
Shopkick gives you free money simply for shopping. Walk into a store and get discounts at places like Target, Macy’s, JcPenney, etc. You can also earn points just for scanning an item without the need to purchase it. Once you get enough points, you can use them to redeem for gift cards to tons of different places. While the savings can be significant, the stores associated with this app are mostly department stores so it’s not the greatest for grocery and household purchases.
CHECKOUT 51
Similar to Ibotta, Checkout 51 allows you to upload your receipt after a purchase in order to get cash back. You can use their app to search for deals and opportunities for cash back in grocery stores in your area. Once you make the purchase, scan your receipt and you receive your first check after hitting $20.
Good luck!
xoxo, Brianne
