Trader Joe’s is one of my favorite stores! I just really enjoy shopping there, and while we do get some less healthy snacks and foods there, I have used a lot of healthy options for both wellness and home.
Organic Shelled Hemp Seeds
This is one of my fave healthy finds, and I use it in smoothies, on smoothie bowls, on yogurt and sometimes just a spoonful as a healthy boost!
Per serving, this has 10g protein, 2.5g Omega-3, 8.5 g Omega-6 fatty acids, and more!
Organic Quinoa
Quinoa is a great staple to have for healthy recipes, and Trader Joe’s has some great quinoa. I like their tricolor quinoa, as it add some color and texture to dishes such as quinoa salad.
Felted decorations
In a world of plastic products, and often disposable decorations, I have been enjoying Trader Joe’s felted decorations, like their felted wool ball garlands. These are so simple and nice to decorate with, and can be easily stored without fear of them breaking.
Organic Chia Seeds
Chia seeds are so versatile, and a great ingredient to keep in your pantry. And, it is a great source of vegetarian Omega-3s!
Organic Flaxseed Meal
This is also a good source of protein, Omega-3, and of course fiber (as well as other benefits). I have used this in oatmeal, overnight oats, and energy balls.
Nuts
I like the variety of nuts at Trader Joe’s, which make for a nice snack especially at work.
