DIY Lavender Sachet

I love lavender, and I also had the chance to go lavender picking a couple times. We were able to use some culinary lavender in recipes, but we also made some sachets. This is such an easy project and a nice addition to your home.

What you need

~ dried fragrant lavender – you can pick this and dry it, or order it online

~ fabric and ribbon

~ sewing machine or sewing supplies

~ optional – lavender essential oil

Directions

Gather your lavender buds, whether you need to take them off the stem or simply purchase buds.

Cut your fabric into just larger than the size of a small sachet bag.

Sew about 1/2″ in on three sides of the fabric.

Fill with lavender. I also like to add a little essential oil, but I like a strong lavender scent!

You can tie the bag shut with a ribbon, or sew it shut.
