Chia seeds are so good for you, and I try to fit them in my diet when I can. These are a wonderful whole food vegetarian source of Omega 3s, just to name one health benefit. These little seeds are easy to use and chia pudding is simple to prepare. The nice thing about chia pudding is that you can change up the flavor in many ways, like this chia with matcha, which is both healthy and fun green color!

Ingredients
– 1 cup milk (any milk of choice, eg. 2% milk or coconut milk)
— 2 tsp matcha powder
– 3 tbsp chia seeds
– 1 tbsp maple syrup, honey – or another sweetener of choice, to taste
– ½ tsp vanilla extract
– Optional toppings: fruit, nuts, granola, etc.

Directions
In a bowl or mason jar, mix the milk, vanilla extract, matcha and sweetener (optional) until thoroughly combined.
Add the chia seeds, and stir thoroughly to evenly distribute them in the mixture.
Let it sit for 5 minutes, then stir again or shake to prevent clumping.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 2-3 hours, or overnight, until the pudding thickens to your desired consistency.
Before serving, give it a stir and add your favorite toppings for extra flavor and texture.

This matcha chia pudding looks so fresh and nourishing. I love recipes like this that combine simple ingredients but still feel like a little wellness boost, especially with the earthy flavor of matcha and the creamy texture chia seeds create. Definitely saving this for a quick breakfast or afternoon snack because it looks both healthy and satisfying.
Yum! This looks amazing and a perfect afternoon pick me up. Love that it’s healthy too. I have a bag of chia seeds that I am not sure what to do with and you just gave me an idea!

This is so yummy! I love getting all that delicious flavor without the guilt!
This recipe was so delicious! I love a chia seed pudding, and the green tea flavour made it extra amazing! I’ll definitely be making this again in the future.
This sounds so good – I make chia pudding all the time but never thought to add matcha! Excited to try this.
Love it! Such a delicious and satisfying recipe, the ingredients blend perfectly the texture was amazing, perfect
This looks like it’s yummy, I haven’t had pudding in a long time, and I just can’t get the kids to try it. I wonder if I tried this Matcha Chia pudding if they would try it.
So yummy! This is a great way to add nutrition while enjoying something absolutely delicious. I’ll make this recipe again soon.
I’m sure it’s so nice, chilled and satisfying going down. I’d love to have this in the refrigerator waiting for me after a hard day at work! Just my kind of treat.
I do love the idea of combining the matcha with the chia. It makes a super healthy and tasty combo to start the day with.
I need to make this match chia pudding. It looks amazing, and I like the benefits you get from the chia, and it’s yummy! Double plus.
That vibrant green color is a fun way to start a morning. I usually struggle with clumping when making pudding like this at home. Stirring it twice before putting it in the fridge is a great tip.
I usually enjoy chia pudding, but the matcha twist here sounds so intriguing! I’m excited to try this flavorful, healthy version.
This is a nice way to enjoy a healthy snack. Not to mention that it is easy to prepare. Would love to try this. Thank you for sharing the recipe.
What got me was the mix of matcha, vanilla, and chia because it sounds like one of those breakfasts that feels a little fancy without being difficult. I usually just do overnight oats, but this seems like a good one to keep in the fridge for busy mornings, especially with coconut milk.
This is healthy and looks delicious. Will try it because this year we’re reducing meat and dairy, and our Omega-3 has to come from somewhere other than supplements.
I’ve tried matcha tea, kitkat, cheesecake and a few others treats, but not this healthy and delicious recipe with chia seeds.
I like chia seeds in some dishes and the fact that it is good for us nutrition wise.
Yummy!
