Sauteed Spinach With Garlic

This is a great dish, whether you are looking for a health boost or a tasty side dish.

Spinach and garlic are both packed with health benefits, from being a good source of iron to immune support.

You can make this in under 10 minutes too!

Ingredients

1 lb spinach

3 cloves of garlic

2 tablespoons olive oil or butter

Salt to taste

Directions

Heat the oil or butter, and saute the garlic for about 30 seconds.

Place the spinach in the pan, and cover with the lid.

Allow to wilt, then toss to coat with oil and garlic.

Continue to toss and cook until the spinach is cooked down – it should only take a few minutes.

Add salt to taste and serve.

  2. This is such a lovely recipe. It’s super fast to make and tastes yummy too. I haven’t made it in so long. I need to get some spinach in and make this and creamed spinach to.

  3. Such a fantastic idea! Spinach and garlic are powerhouse ingredients, and a dish that incorporates both in under 10 minutes is a winner!

  4. A drop of sesame oil and some sesame seeds will upgrade this side dish (it’s a staple in korean dishes). I haven’t used olive oil with this dish, but the sesame oil is always good with it. Will try with olive oil next time.
