I like to have my home smelling nice and fresh, but fragrances are one of those things I am careful about.
I don’t like to expose our family or pets to synthetic fragrances and other unhealthy chemicals. Making your own spray with essential oils is a good way to know that exactly what is going into your scented products.
** Please be aware that essential oils can be dangerous around pets.
DIY linen spray is easy to make, and you can tailor it to your own preferences. You can use one essential oil, such as lavender, or come up with combinations.
Ingredients
4 oz water, preferably distilled
4 ounces witch hazel or vodka
35-45 drops essential oils
Also needed – glass spray bottle
Directions
Put ingredients in a spray bottle. Shake gently to mix.
Before using, swirl or shake gently to redistribute ingredients.
* Be careful as some essential oils may stain surfaces or fabrics.
* You can use with water, but the mixture will not mix well or last as long.
