Ingredients
- fresh lemon juice (from 1 lemon)
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated using a fine grater (I have also used powdered ginger)
- 1-2 teaspoons honey to taste (local honey is best!)
- hot water
To Prepare
Prepare the fresh lemon juice and fresh ginger.
Mix all of your ingredients together.
Add sweetener of your choice; I prefer a local honey.
Allow to steep in hot water for 5-10 minutes.
If the ginger is too strong or spicy, you can reduce the amount used.

This makes for such a lovely tea and one that is beneficial to health too. I normally let the tea cool a little before adding the lemon for a higher vitamin c content.
